The Brief (01)
Made You Look is a new duo launching their debut project, comprising of four tracks releasing between September and November, just in time for festival season. With heavy competition from major global artists during this period, they needed a bold, creative way to stand out and build momentum.

Targeting 18–34 year olds who live for music, fun, and self-expression, the challenge was to create something that would cut through the noise, keep people engaged across releases, and introduce the band with impact - both locally and abroad.
Core Challenge (02)
How might we build Made You Look an edgy and loud brand identity that attracts and inspires their audience, whilst engaging them for the upcoming release of ‘Sweater’.
Our Approach (03)
Our approach was to take a deep dive into what truly defines Made You Look - their sound, story, aesthetic, and attitude. By exploring these core elements, we identified both their strengths and opportunities to strengthen, allowing us to create the foundation for building a more engaged and loyal audience.

We then looked at how creative design is being used across the music industry to keep fans engaged. By exploring current uses of interactive technology and immersive experiences, we were able to shape a direction that felt authentic to the band while offering a fresh way for audiences to connect with their music.
Moodboard (04)
A shared moodboard combining the client’s references with our own visual ideas helped define the tone, style, and direction for the project.
Blender Process (05)
Our core idea was to turn their website into a live space where fans would be able to get a glimpse into the band and their world. By creating an apartment like room filled full of hidden secrets, stories, and teasers into whats next.

By creating this space in Blender, the ability to move, change and update allowed us to create a highly tailored world for the band to use as a space to keep fans engaged in whats next.
Rendered Room (06)
The final output of this process was a rendered 360 degree image that could then be used with Three.js to create our interactive room.
Image Edit (07)
To further match the aesthetic of the bands moodboards, image edits helped us turn the room into a vibrant space.
Take a Tour (08)
By clicking and dragging you mouse across the screen, fans are able to explore a full 360 space, being able to zoom out to see the bigger picture, or zoom in to find any potential hidden details.
Find Hidden Items (04)
The interactive room is full of clickable objects that give fans an insight into how the band met, who they are, and their music. These objects are design to be moved, swapped, and replaced to reflect the bands current projects.
Interact to Learn More (04)
By clicking on these objects, a side panel come out full of information for fans to explore.
